Has anyone gotten a Cortisone injection for back pain. any advice

I have three years. i am 70. i have great lower back pain all my life. my doctor said it's ok to get a Get Cortisone injection.

Although I was wary of having a cortisone shot I had one in my shoulder last year and it helped immensely. The pain never came back, at least on that side. The cortisone can damage bones I think and Joints so we shouldn't have the shots very often, that's what I've heard. Perhaps a second opinion would give you some peace of mind on the decision.

I was in extreme, screaming, agony. I heard from doctor, read of others w/ unsatisfactory results. February I received epidural injection. Pain free to this day.

yes my friend did it and it made a big differents so it works.me i had stem cell treatment for my pd in china.it made a big differents for me.

I just got cortisone injections in both knees. It seems to help with my arthritis. The quality of life is so much better without pain. I now have pain in my back from over doing it. Funny you should ask. I was wishing I could get an injection right now in my back. I would definitely do it. I hope it takes your pain away.
