Hi everyone

I have been following all your posts with great interest and it has been really encouraging for me. My hubby was diagnosed in 2015 but they say he has had PD for approx 10 years before. John Pepper has been an inspiration, he met with us when we still lived in CT and was a great encouragement. I have posted a link to an article I read this morning which I found incredibly encouraging and made a lot of sense regarding the brain.(although it’s heading is cancer) I have always believed somehow the liver and stomach were the root cause of the issues of PD. I also found an article on a Dr,Bundwig diet which although for cancer, treats the immune system. My hubby has always suffered from high acidic levels and “gout” attacks and inflammation since he was in his twenties ( now in 50’s). I am going to give the Bundwig cottage cheese and flaxseed/linseed oil a trial for the next couple of months and see how it goes with reducing inflammation. I truly believe the answer is out there and we are getting closer.

I entirely agree with this thesis, at least in my own particular case.

Skin issues for many years, itching, welts after contact etc.

A liver function test many years ago showed something amiss but never really got to the bottom of it.

It seems to me that over many years my liver (mainly ) has propagated neurotoxins in the bloodstream and brain.

And now I have PD!

I'm working on a full detox - problem is the meds , the little I take anyway, 'retoxify' my liver!

One step forward. ...

As you say though with the help of all parties, especially the people on such forums - we're getting close to solving the puzzle! :-)
