A natural remedy for constipation

I've been constipated for many years. When I was diagnosed with PD a year ago, the constipation got worse; when my doc prescribed Azilect 5 months ago, it got still worse. My daughter, who has studied Ayurveda extensively and is in her last semester of acupuncture school, told me to take 2 Tablespoons of flax oil or 2 Tablespoons of ghee every day. I'm also taking 800 mg of magnesium and 6 stewed prunes daily. My constipation is gone. I go every day or every other day. There's no straining and no hard stools. It's miraculous!

I had constipation. Mannitol has resolved that and helped with my tremor.

That is encouraging. Is it available over the counter?

you have to search on the internet. It is relatively cheap. So I got 2 kg for about £30 (about $40 US)
