I have been reading about mannitol and I would like to know if anyone has tried it. There is a lot of side effects that they list but says it could help with Parkinson's
Question about mannitol: I have been... - Cure Parkinson's
Question about mannitol
I took it for months, it does help with constipation comma after your gut Flora gets used to it and the gas goes away. For me it did not make any difference in other physical Parkinson's symptoms.
I've been using mannitol for two months - 2 tsp/day (recommended for my weight by clinicrowd) and have not noticed any side effects, but didn't notice any improvements in my symptoms neither.
I've been taking mannitol for over 4 months now and reporting to Clinicrowd scrupulously.
Side effects : bloating and gaz, slowly vanishing away.
I feel like the progression of the disease has been halted. May be wishful thinking, but I intend to try it for a whole year minimum, my metabolism being slower than the mice ones I guess.
Hi
I assume that the side effects you see in the internet relate to IV treatments which are much higher dosage than the ones related to PD. You may want to look at Q&A in our site at: clinicrowd.info/faq-2/
We would appreciate if you consider joining our registry, even if you do not decide to take Mannitol.
Wish you all the best
Ive been using it for 6 months. Part of my daily regimen. Side effect is gas, sometimes diarrhea. Overall i feel better now than 6 months ago. Bear in mind, its only a part of my treatment plan. So i cant attribute just that to my progress.
I am in the very early stages, and I take it with turmeric, liposomal glutathione and coconut oil . This has stopped my symptoms and allowed me to eat normally ( as opposed to low carb, high fat). Sleep seems improved too.
