has anyone felt that when taking entacapone with L-dopa it makes you feel worse. I stopped several days ago and feel my more normal self. Is there another drug that can extend L-dopa that may work better. AND has anyone tried the new drug that has just been released for extending l-dope and your thoughts.

I was taking half dosage of 1 mg Rasagiline the generic of Azilect and experienced hive like itchy rash on tummy arms legs and back and swelling of legs ankles feet within the short 2 week "breaking in" period. MDS told me to stop taking Rasagiline. My annual physical is due in a week so she wants to see if there are any issues unrelated to PD. Within 15 minutes of taking Rasagiline an MAO B inhibitor I felt awful. Brain fog and imbalance issues. I requested Xadago the new drug just approved by FDA but my MDS said it is so new she doesn't know how to order it and Rasagiline is just $10 month.

At first it helped (entecapone) or seemed to but quickly it became bad and I had pretty bad side effects. I stopped and feel much better only on l-dopa. All the nasty side effects are gone.

Try Xadago. It works great for me and slows progression of disease. Get it at Goldpharma.com
