Ian this is a whole new area for me so can you explain why do you have to decarboxilise ? the oil?

The active ingredient is CBD. This oil contains mostly CBDA which is converted to CBD by decarboxylating it (heating it to around 100 degrees for a couple of hours causes this reaction to occur).

OK, so the big question: knowing what you now know about DBS and also about med. marijuana benefits, if you could do it over again, would you have preferred to do med marijuana 1st, before dibs? or visa versa?

I am at that crossroad, looking for insight-

Hi

I regard cannabis/CBD as others regard their prescription PD meds, providing great symptomatic relief. DBS provides much better relief, and I don't have to remember to take it. Many (most) PWP who have DBS still have to take meds, albeit usually greatly reduced, and I still use cannabis/CBD when necessary. Tremor had so impacted my life that I leapt at the chance of DBS, and it's been amazing. I wholeheartedly recommend it.
