Five months ago, my neurologist added Carbidopa/Levo to my Azilect and Ropinerole. Everything became easier for me, and everyone notices my more fluid movement. What they don't see is my jaw-clenching and persistent hand and foot movement. I'm guessing these are side-effects of the new meds. Anyone else experience these symtoms?

Side-effects of New Meds
I take three or four C/L 25/100 a day. I also get what you describe. I find it especially irritating when I'm driving. It can actually be painful, my muscles are so tight in my right arm. It helps if I take 1/2 a C/L at a time and just take them a little more often unless I'm going to be exercising or working and then I take a whole one. Good luck. I know how irritating this can be. My neurologist suggested the one half at a time. Perhaps your neurologist would have some helpful feedback on this.
Have you been back to the neurologist to get a drug review since then? It may need a change to dose spacing and strength of the tablet. So, smaller doses closer together perhaps. Don't suffer in silence.
I have been taking Azilect for 4 years and added carbidopa/levo 6 months ago. I take 1/2 at a time. Protein may interfere with absorption. Take 30-45 minutes before a meal or 1 hour after. No problems, so far. Not experiencing your symptoms. Good luck.
Dystopia is the jaw clenching and the other is dyskinesia. Both side effects from your new meds but maybe can be resolved with dose adjustment.
Thank you to all who replied. I will discuss half-doses of C/L with my neurologist.
yes and it was reduced
