Stomach issues

I find that if I don't limit myself to a very small portion I'm nauseous shortly after eating and it lasts awhile like an hour or two. Is this from PD?

Yes, I believe it is from PD. I have nausea spells throughout the day here. Nausea from not eating, nausea from eating. For me, small portions, and "grazing" throughout the day, are the best way for me to avoid nausea attacks.

Also, I have 2-3 small cups of white wine (Chardonnay) during the day starting around 9:30am, (yes I know that is early), and it settles my stomach and allows my gut to function more normally, as in urge to BM, feel genuine hunger, and it quells that inner tremor too.

I don't want to turn into a wino but it really helps my gut and for that matter my mind cope with PD, whose tentacles reach out and effect every aspect of my being.

It is funny that you mentioned a glass of wine. Just recently I have been having a glass of wine in the evening to try to relax. Thank You tmjennings.

I don't know if it's from the PD, but I've had the same experience.

Small portions. No pork (!). Breaking these rules; constipation, bloating, nausea.

Wonder what are your medications? Any chance you take Senemet? OLne of the problems with it, is that if taken with food, can result in Nausea. I take it 4 tms a day....fast an hourbthe before and after taking pill.

This started long before I was on Sinemet.

I' ve had this nausea for 3 years off and on. It's from the Carbadopa/levadopa. It happens about 1/2 hour after I take the med. I don't believe food has anything to do with it. I was given TIGAN 300mg which I take with C/L Usually works. I find the best for nausea is a few hits of weed.

In my case I'm quite certain it is not from the meds. This has been going on for a long time...way before I started the c/l.
