Gap or Withdrawal?

Am taking Carbidopa/Levodopa 100MG. One and One-Half Tablets daily.

I take when I awake at 7:30am, 12:30pm and 5:30pm.

I wonder about the gap between 5:30pm and 7:30am? 14 hours.

Could it account for symptoms such as sleep disturbances?

It could account for sleep disturbance. I'm on a similar cd/ld dose schedule. I take 0.5mg clonazeipam at bed time and sleep through til morning.

I take mine at 8hour intervals (7am, 3pm, 11pm) which seems to make the night-time better.

Drs often prescribe a slow release medication for the long overnight stretch. Sleep disturbance seems to be a feature of Parkinson's and in many people happens long before they are medicated or diagnosed even.

Overnight medication can help with difficulty turning over or being in the 'off' state.

I have REM Sleep Disorder, problem is the acting out. take Melatonon 10 mg to prevent that. Requip is prescribed sometimes for restless leg syndrome. Have a friend who who takess a lower strength time release Senement late at night on going to bed. Reports it helps. I am not aware of any report of waring off being an issue during night.
