Sinemet and Restoril (Temazepam)

Has anyone heard that using Sinemet and Restoril together reduces the effectiveness of Sinemet? I take Sinenet and have been using Ambien for sleep for awhile but would like to get off of it as its effectiveness has been decreasing. I'll be talking to my doctor about this on my next visit, but I would like to hear from anyone who might be using this combination.

For sleep I use Melatonin it works beautiful, don't need a prescription and non adicting; you can start with the 3mg and go up or down

Thanks for the suggestion. I have tried melatonin at various dosages. For some reason it doesn't have much an effect for me for sleep.
