Anyone in this PD community who has attended the European Parkinsons Therapy Center in Italy or knows someone who has attended it and can give me an evaluation whether it is worth attending? I am thinking of going to their one-week intensive program. How have you benefitted or been disappointed in it?

I am American and fluent only in English. You seem to have a lot to say and I so would love to hear it. Is it possible for you to write the same response in English? I am making this decision very soon so would love to get your English response

Looking forward to getting your opinion and suggestions.

Thank you so much.

I attended a intensive weeks course last February. I found it very benificial , in terms of education, exercise and environment. It was also good to talk to other sufferers. The staff at the centre cannot do enough for you. The hotel was well run and food very good. I'm 50 and was diagnosed 3 years ago. Hope this assists you in your decision.

It 'a great club, and can be of help, especially in the early stage PD, because much information on how to deal with it and how to live with it, one of the physiotherapists staff makes you work for a week, explaining that exercise regular is very helpful in PD.

I've been there for a week, it was a positive experience, especially from the psychological point of view, because I gained confidence and strength to deal with PD, I met other people who have my same disease with whom I could exchange ideas.

Finally I can say that for this information, and physical therapy specialist did not have to go to the center.

Thank you for your efforts in translating your message. However I learned something important in the process. I learned that I could copy and paste iMessage from a different language and have it translated by a Google program. Your response was helpful and informative and I will be guided by your last statement. Having been diagnosed 3 years ago and being person with exercises avidly every day it is possible and likely but I will manage my disease by taking advantage of opportunities in my city. Many thanks for your efforts and advise.

Have you attended this yet? If yes, was it valuable? I've been exercising with Rock Steady Boxing for over 10 years & it's been a big help. What type of exercise helps you? Do you take any herbs or supplements?
