It sounds like you mean, essential tremor. That has nothing to do with Parkinson's and I'm sure you can find lots of info about it. It's what people are relieved to have...instead of Parkinson's.

what is resting tremors? and is that pd or something else?

my right hand/writing is affected, but I don't have the tremors...unless I stretch my fingers apart....than there is that slight tremor, with the required straining. hand is curling I think you call it. is that typical pd?

I don't have essential tremors because my lower body (leg) is also affected....have wooden jaw at times, though.

Just keep reading and doing your research. It's what we all have to do. I like the Mayo Clinic site. There is a minimum of malarkey.
