I have not read that PD does cause ED, which is strange because I would expect low libido with low dopamine.

Anti-depressants will cause ED. I have found 60 mg zinc to increase my libido. Take with plenty of food to prevent serious nausea. Also broccoli has helped a lot at times. And maca. L-DOPA can make you hypersexual.

Just finished reading an article written by Gila Bonner: "MANAGMENT OF SEXUAL DYSFUNCTION IN PARKINSON'S DISEASE", Google it I Recommend reading. ED is about 60% in PD

No problem with ed

Just the opposite

Meds seem to improve drive

L-DOPA can make you hypersexual is a true statement

Some months ago, I too developed ED secondary to PD. My doctor prescribed Sidenafil (I think that was the name), which worked beautifully (even with only a third to a quarter of a tablet.) Problem was that the drug had some adverse effects. The tablets made me feel dizzy and slightly nauseous - and I suspect my blood pressure went higher than normal.

I haven't been back to my doctor again about this, but if I do I'm sure he will be able to prescribe a different tablet - but whether it will have negative side effects I shall have to find out for myself!
