I started with 2mg and went all the way to 8 mg. It did not work for me. It was very expensive, and the patch was hard to keep on. You have to change places to put it each time and some places your clothes interfere. I finally told my Neuro I wanted to stop it becauseI I fellt like I was wasting my time.I was very disappointed, I hope you are more successful

Hold your palm over the patch for about 30 seconds, then apply a hot wet wash cloth for up to a minute. Mine stick just fine doing this. I just use my thighs, alternating legs for the patch. My tummy was too sensitive and not really enough room on my arms.

Hi, i have been on the patch for a year. I was taking requip before that, which is another DA. It works pretty well, am probally going to switch to ldopa soon though. Not working as well as it use to. Im 47 was dx 2 years ago, had pd for prob four years prior. Lots of tests and drs finally got the dx. its hard to say how long it took to work, i guess a few weeks as we had to keep increasing the dose. I work as a NP and move around alot with my job so i do have to tape it down sonetimes, exp if its on my arm or thigh. I hope it works well for you. take care! D

I've been on Neupro 6 for 2 1/2 yrs. I started on 2 then 4 and settled on the 6. I like it, I think it takes awhile for it to kick in, I don't remember exactly...maybe 2 -3 months to fully get effects.
