Is anyone taking carbamazapine for dykenesia. I take Azilect, fSinemet for four years. Tremor free. Now developing dykenesia on left side.

No, I understood that Tegretol (carbamazapine) is used for epileptic seizures and nerve pain?? would you please describe your dykenesia? as i think my OH may be starting with this. xxx

Yes it is also used for dyskenesia My hands twist & jump jerk. Legs & foot as well. Not tremors. Very stiff

Interested in your post Parki as i didnt know dyskenesia could be just on one side. I always thought of it as a whole body response.

Hikoi. I am not sure about that myself. I will ask my doctor. Mine is only on my left side at this point.

From atlantic have a movement disorder will protein help me. Don't know what MDR is !
