Hi John living in Joburg, just out of the country for now returning end March. Good luck to you, they say Cape Town is wonderful to live in. Sometimes wish I too can meet someone to get old with, someone who don't think PD is a monster. Regards

Hi Anid. I was happily married for 51 years. It was not all bliss, it never is. It was a good solid marriage, producing 2 wonderful, well-adjusted children, who in turn each produced two well-adjusted children. We had a wonderful life together and she wanted me to marry again, although I could never have dreamed of doing so. I could not even imagine romantically kissing another woman. Then after 15 months, I asked one of her childhood friends, whom we both had been seeing regularly, whether she would like to get to know me better, with the prospect of marriage, if we clicked. She replied, 3 days later, that she would like to get to know me better, but only as a friend. She had been married for 49 years and her husband also had Pd for 20 of those years. To cut a long story short we quickly got to know each other, not in the biblical sense and decided we would rather be together than alone for the rest of our lives. That was that! We are getting married in June, and we have purchased a unit in a retirement village in Cape Town, into which we move in May. How's that for a sob-story?
