Tired of feeling so bad

Hi everyone been a while since I've been on here. Very busy trying to stay positive and live a good life. Been to many drs with blood pressure issues and generally feeling crappy. Last dr I saw was my cardiologist and he recommended no vitamins or b-complex for a month and see how I feel. I have high cholesterol also.and the side effects of statins while taking vitamins he claims,is what's making me feel so bad. Well guess who stopped 2 weeks ago and is feeling better.i cannot believe it. Blood pressure is better to from not worrying so much.

Along with tai chi and the above,I'm feeling almost like my old self. One day at a time and one foot in front of the other, and I'm ready!!! I'll keep you posted friends and maybe we all will learn from this, friends helping friends!

We can stuff our body with vitamins thinking we are doing good, but if we have a good balanced diet there is no need at all to be taking any kind of supplements.

You will not only feel better but in the process save yourself a load of brass

I found that I could cut the Statins in half and then only take every other day and still saw a dramatic drop in my cholesterol. I also take 200 mg CoQ10 from Jarrows daily which should always be taken with a statin. As for blood pressure mine has dropped from 130-140/70's to 90s/50s (too low). The Azilect I take eventually causes my blood pressure to build over time and usually a couple times a year I would get off it for 14 days to correct the problem. The big drop I had to the 90s/50s was due to the increase in carb/levo/ I did recently. I don't watch the azilect as closely now and its running in the 110s/60s.

My dr also said to cut the statins in half and I get bloodwork done in 2 weeks, curios to see if there is a difference, stay tuned!

I actually reduced my down to 1/4. I took 1/2 tablets every other day. My total cholesterol was 250ish with no statin, 150s with 1 tablet per day and 170s with 1/2 tablet every other day.

Hi Annie,

I am so darn happy for you!!! I was told to stop all vitamins too, but I have not felt the difference. can't sleep at night before 2 or 3 A.M. and up at 5 or 6...so always tired. want to

work out but lower back says NO!!! but I am really not complaining cuz I play poker, pinnacle , Mah Jongg and ponytail canasta and cribbage so I am busy every day and night so I really don't have time t o dwell.
