I have just come off rasagilene after 8 years because I personally couldnt see the point in taking it any more, its hard to get hold of in UK, expensive, doesnt go with paoxetene, and I soon found out it didn't seem to make any difference. Now I am taking Stavelo which seems to be making a huge difference in a different way.

What are differences that it has made to you. We live in Cyprus and the cost of rasagiline is 140 euro per month, it was free when we lived in U.K., apart from normel prescription charge.

The US charge is around $700/month. I have taken it since I was diagnosed, at that point it made night and day difference. I would be scared to go off of it, though I do think it is more effective early on.

You can get the Generic from Canada at a much lesser cost...We are still trying to get the prescription translated into English at the Greek hospital first, as Canada will not accept pres, in a foreign language. I recentley asked a question about the Generic drug and am happy that some people are already using it, with no complications.
