Once again we must reiterate the comment that everyone's PD presents itself differently. I met a Parkie a couple years ago who had tremendous luck with the piano as therapy.
I have also ecountered people who've had tremendous results with singing. Not me! I used to have a 2.5 octave range and a passable voice. Now I cannot croak out a simple tune for the life of me.
Go for it Par!!!

I was taking lessons for a while until I tore my rotator cuff. It was wonderful! It was very beneficial and fun while it lasted.
I took piano lessons while in elementary school, I am now 57 & was diagnosed in 2009. I bought a piano & a lot of teach yourself how to play & I love it. It is really fun. I had not played for so many years it was like learning all over again. It's fun for me & that's how I stick to it.
