Hi, I’m a newbie with Rheumatoid Arthritis. My Rheumatologist wants me to stop Plaquenil and go on a biologic. She suggests Orencia. Would appreciate hearing from fellow RA warriors who have taken Orencia (or other biologic) and if so, in what form - infusion or injection. Advice, please! Thanks!

I took Orencia for about a year I believe and did fine but, then started having a rash. Turned out I was being thrown into “drug induced lupus” after I got off it I did fine . I think it wouldn’t hurt to try it. After all I’d rather try something that’s been around for a bit instead of a fairly new drug. Just my take of course.
