My Dr wrote that I have Spondylosis & Spondylis w/o myelopathy or ridiculopathy. in the lumbar & lumbosacr region. What treatments are there and what is it?

Usually they approach with an anti tnf like emnrel. Best of luck. I do share some of this diagnosis but it’s degenerated my SI joint and gives my shoulders some trouble. Best of luck! I chose to treat without the heavy meds as I have already tried four biologics and was unhappy with their results.

If you do decide, avoid auto injections, they inject really fast and it caused a great amount of bruising.

It’s a biologic medacibe hat they use to treat many autoimmune conditions. Hunters, embrel... there’s a few more. It an inevitable medacibe that you administer at home Hay is meant to slow or eliminate the progression of disease function.

Spondylosis means that you have degeneration in the vertebrae in your lower back and bum and w/o is usually shorthand for 'without' so this is saying that you have these changes but they are not pinching nerves in the spinal cord.

I think zbratianu was talking about spondylytis which is an auto-immune disease that attack a the spine and can be treated with several different types of drugs. Stupid to have several different things with such similar names!

Unfortunately there's not much that can be done for spondylosis apart from exercise and drugs to treat the pain.
