Infliximab infusion
'High drug' probably means they have tested your levels which they do immediately before the next infusion to see how much of the drug is left in your body before the top-up. Antibodies are sometimes made by your body to repel the drug, making it less effective. As you still have symptoms they might switch you to another biologic to see if it works better for you.
Hi I have infliximab too and had been fine for about 2 years then started having flare ups so are now having double the dosage which seems to be helping so far! Sorry but wouldn't know about what you have been told with your situation. Hope you find someone that can help to understand it
After having infusions and then injecting I developed antibodies to infliximab. I was changed to adalimumab injections. I also take mercaptopurine 50mg every other day. Hope this helps.
