Has anyone had to discontinue Humira due to developing joint pain.? My daughter has successfully been on Humira for 5 years for Crohn's and suddenly developed joint pain. Her rhemy took her off the Humira and said it is drug induced lupus. Now she is switched to Stelara but it isn't working yet. Anyone else have joint pain with Crohn's or drug induced lupus?

Hi lsb312

I do get some joint pain with my Crohn's. But this only happens while I am having a bad flare and soon stops once everything is under reasonable control.

I can not comment on drug-induced lupus. But I changed from Humira to Stelara, as the Humira stopped working.

When I switched to Stelara it took me around 4-5months before it started to work in any way. Also, I had to get my dose moved up from 8weeks to 6weeks after 6months before things really improved.

I do hope your daughter is feeling better.
