Hi, I have UC and started on Humira in early August. I noticed a reduction in pain level pretty soon and generally have more good days now, but it's early days. It can take several weeks to show improvement, if it's going to work for you. Nobody knows till you get started! The only side effect I have noticed is easier bruising/bleeding. Good luck!

Humira worked wonders for me. I did try infliximab and was on it for about 6 yrs but because of drug-induced lupus I was switched to Humira. It can take up to 12 weeks to feel the full benefits.

Good Luck x

I started Humira just over a year ago, I was off work roughly every 6 weeks before I took it, haven't been off work now since January 😀 Sometimes in the morning I am sick but this seems be the only side effect although this could be my Crohn's to blame. Hope it works for you.
