Well almost at the biggy. Did W5R2 tonight and I just love the fact that I can not only run for 8 minutes straight but that I am at W5. I remember reading all the post at the beginning and thinking....god I don't know if I will be able to do that!! Now I don't know what I was worried about
The run went really well, and my breathing was steady, but by the end I was tired. Now a days rest then R3...20 mins non stop. Oddly, I'm feeling quite excited about it ( my husband thinks I'm a nutter), I think it's because it's such a mile stone and I feel I will be able to do it as I really don't go that fast, just steady. I'll let you know how it goes

You'll be fine! I think that looking back at how far you've come is the key rather than looking forward and fearing future runs. I'll be looking out for your triumphant blog!
Thanks Greeners Just been looking at the 5x50 website and saw your name on their....good luck with it, I would really like to do it, possibly next year. Just want to concentrate on C25K for the mo. I'll keep checking the site to see how you all do....I think you're all amazing
Mmmm - when I looked at 5x50 I thought - possibly next year - then for some insane reason I went and signed up! I don't feel at all amazing at the moment, but hopefully amazingness will magically appear from nowhere!
As I work in a school, I've got the next 2 weeks off work for Easter, which should help me get started with 5x50. We will see!
