I did a quick 6K run this morning in the light rain. I'm planning a long run tomorrow so will probably take it easy for the remainder of today.
I was thinking about shin splints this morning when I was running. I've never had them when running, but have experienced them when walking too fast. I think it's probably because when I speed up when walking, I tend to stride out - over stride. When I'm running I'm more aware of my posture and more conscious not to land on my heels.
Well I walked a bit more and went to the gym, it was a bad idea though.
I feel awful now, still only 10 days left, then a nice big rest.
