Such an honest blog regarding C25K. It can truly change lives, one small step at a time. Several of the comments hit home such as not comparing running to weight-loss. I have changed my eating habits over the past 1.5 years and would like to lose a few more pounds. I noticed on C25K I am not experiencing scale loss even though I watch what I eat. I do believe I am experiencing inch loss by the way my clothing fits. Thank you for blogging about C25K, it is an awesome program and I wish more people were aware of it.
What a wonderful blog post. Gdeann. I'm right with you about the running for running's sake. It's wonderful and so is this community. I never could have got this far on my own. Thank you all.
Fantastic! Very inspirational. I thought I would embark on this program to lose weight, I've lost a couple of pounds in five weeks - so i was puzzled that I haven't given up, I so would have before Laura came into my life. What you said about running to run hits the nail on the head and really rings true with me, I guess as I become even more of a runner the weight will naturally start to drop off. This program has made me more organised, more positive and a lot more confident. I am shy too, but the confidence from this program has given me the boost to join a yoga class- I've wanted to do this for so many years. It seems running is creeping into all areas of my life in a really positive way.
Here here! So true, not lost a pound, but I have stopped putting weight on, for weeks my weight has been stable and I love running.
