Congratulations, I am looking forward to my first run tonight of week two. Its good knowing other people have survived:)

Thank you! I finished, but my running is more of a slow jog and my walking isn't that fast either. Even though I do my best to go faster, I only cover 1.6 miles :( If I go any faster, I miss runs in between, so maybe better for me to run slower but complete all my runs than miss some. What do you guys think?

I have just completed week 1 and would say better to complete the runs and start slow and build up speed later. You will feel like you have achieved more which will spur you on and less likely to do yourself an injury - espec if you're not used to it!

I have just started Wk3 and I can tell you: run slowly, take your time! I struggled at my last run Wk2 and decided to take my time. Result: I enjoyed my 3 min run more than any previous 90 seconds ones!

It's important to find your pace, built your muscles, your stamina and don't get injured. And that takes time. Rome wasn't built in a day!

Some of us will run faster, some will run for longer. It doesn't matter, you are in it for you, so be patient!

And you will get there, yes you will!

That was very encouraging EnVadrouille! I was worrying how I would feel next week! And yes I think I will take it slow and worry about speed later!

Rollercoaster you're right... completing the runs does spur you on to do more... I will stop worrying and just run at my own pace :) And all the best to you guys!

Not what you're looking for?
