I am a C25km graduate but experiencing aching/stiff knees for 1-2 days after each run. Some Ibuprofen normally helps.Should I just ignore this and carry on or could I be causing damage to my knee joints? Any advice much appreciated.

Ice the knees when they feel sore and inflamed - us a bag of pees wrapped in a towel or something similar.

I had trouble during the latter weeks of the plan, but it has calmed right down now. Icing will do them wonders and bring out all of the anguish.

Thanks for that will try it.No real swelling observed but they really ache.

I get this too, and actually haven't run for a week as a precaution. Nervous now about starting back out, especially as I'm keen to try the C25k+ podcasts. I will also try icing my knees, need to get back into things.
