Cheap gear at Lidl

For people looking for more gear I noticed that Lidl have what they call sporting essentials as their specials this week. Includes clothing which goes up to large sizes, backpack and various support braces.

I treated myself to a skort - it's very comfortable and not too short. And it was only £5.99 !

The Capris are great, but my best buy was the heart monitor watch! I love it! It takes my mind off 'how much longer?' and it was interesting - if slightly worrying - to see that at 8 minutes (I'm on Week 5 Day 2) I am running at 99% of the limit for my weight, height and age. Also like it because the chronometer keeps going even when you switch to the heart rate monitor and back again. Hopefully, as I get fitter, my heart rate will steady out a bit.

Seriously, though, the Lidl stuff is very reasonably priced and the Capris are very good value for money. I like the pocket in the back of the waistband - somewhere to keep my house key other than down my bra!
