Graduated last week. For now I keep repeating week 9 run 3. Anyone knows what we do now. Park runs I get, running clubs I get. But I need that voice in my ear telling me to stop and start. Plus any tipa on how you know when your 5k is done.

The general, and good advice, is to do exactly what you’re doing, run for 30 minutes or so three times a week for a few weeks to consolidate. As for what to do next, the Nike Running Club app (free) has a ton of different guided runs. That’s my go to when I want to mix things up. Regarding measuring 5k you could download the free version of Strava and use that to track your distance, or go out and buy a cheap and cheerful fitness watch with GPS. Good luck on your running journey! 😊

🍏Congratulations!!! 🎉🎊

You have been doing the right thing by consolidating your runs.. First things first! You need to claim your virtual Graduation Badge. Look on the pinned posts section.

Amazing how much we miss that motivational voice in our ear and many use 9:3 for their first few consolidation runs. Again if you look under pinned posts you will see a post about what to do next!

Many use apps like NRC that have guided runs … I am using that at the moment and finding them a treat!

You could also pop over to HU Bridge to 10K & look at some ideas there!

Enjoy doing some exploring to decide what’s best for you!

Congratulations on your graduation ! You did it! Don’t forget to claim your badge! So as BlackCountryLee has said consolidation is the key. Now if you hop over to the Graduates Club ( which is lead by the brilliant MissUnderstanding she has a great post full of pointers) you will get lots more information.Take a look 👀 in the pinned posts.

There is also B210k forum to have look at too and reading the pinned posts on both forums will allow you to get a lot more advice.

You can also download NRC app which gives guided runs too. Lots of our members use that app. However by running 30 mins three times a week will probably suffice at the moment until you can feel in yourself that you are able to go further……which I’m sure won’t be long!😂😂

Good luck and congrats again🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️👏👏🥳🥳👨‍🎓
