I've been away for a while....but I'm back! I completed C25k about 5 years ago, built up slowly to 10k then a half marathon. Then Plantar Fasciitis prevented me from running for 18 months....so I'm back on C25k. On week 5. It feels less painful than 5 years ago, I know I'm a bit stronger now. I am feeling quite worried though about the longer runs. It's been so long.Anyway, hello!
Hello again!: I've been away for a while....but... - Couch to 5K
Hello again!
Lovely to hear from you again Ang33333, I certainly remember you for all those 3's in your username, sorry about your Planter Fasciitis and hope it won't bother you again, well done on getting to week 5 of C25K for a second time.
I am still running and reporting my runs on this forum, I ran my 83rd parkrun this morning, I have also ran 37/10Ks, 8/16K's and 1 half marathon, a few weeks ago and next week I will be the tailwalker at Palacerigg parkrun, onwards and upwards for you on run 3 of week 5 of C25K, good luck for that particular milestone run.
welcome back, I hope things stay good for you this time around
Welcome back! When you did the longer runs before, you’d never done them. This time, you’ve got that experience so even if it’s been a while, you still know that you’re able to do them because you’ve been there before.
It sounds like you’re making great progress through the programme and already have a lot to celebrate. Really glad to have you here again! Hope that pesky plantar fasciitis stays away. ❤️🏃♀️❤️
