I usually just go anyway. Most of my routes are fine in wet weather. I’d avoid anything that gets very boggy or flooded if the rain was particularly heavy.

Just get wet. It can be very refreshing. I draw the line at snow and ice.
I agree, snow sometimes, on fields, but Ice...never !

Run... apart from torrential rain and wind... ice for me, is the only time I will not run. It can be fun, but I do always have to be wearing a large brim cap

I have a very useful weather app called hyperlocal, which shows the weather in my location for the next hour, based on a radar map . It's amazingly accurate and i can avoid getting too wet if I plan around it, and can see that the rain will have gone in twenty minutes. Or I go a day sooner or later, or in the evening if it's only going to rain in the morning. Sometimes I've got no choice but to go when it's raining so then I choose my routes and wear my cap and my ronhill jacket. I don't mind getting wet, it's just harder to find good routes when it's raining.

I stick on a peaked cap so my glasses don’t get too wet and off I go! Rain running is much more fun than you’d expect and is nice and refreshing too. I wouldn’t wear a waterproof as it gets very hot underneath. 😊

Welcome to the forum.
Skin is waterproof and once you are wet you cannot get any wetter.
Embrace the rain.

I run anyway and love it! There’s something very childlike about running in the rain 😁In the warm weather it’s very refreshing and in the cool weather I wear my lightweight waterproof although I never wear my hood as it gets too hot 🥵
I agree with all those above 👆 Embrace it 🌧
I always run in the rain, it's the heat I struggle with!

I love running in the rain, it’s so refreshing - just wear a cap so it doesn’t run into your eyes (I left mine off last time and couldn’t see) 🤣

I love running in the rain and it's something I can do on rainy days when I can't garden or walk the dog (she hates rain) ☺️🏃♀️💦

Hi Mummy Lu,
how I long to see rainy days right now! I went out for a couple of times with the rain (but I live in Italy, it wasn’t a heavy rain). During my second rainy run, I listened to a guided run with Coach Bennet on the Nike Run Club, dedicated to running in the rain, with many good tips.I quite enjoyed running in the rain, but again, it was a light rain. I wouldn’t go out to get soaked in November, I’d wait for better days or for lighter rain. Also, I believe wearing a good rain jacket, light and breathing, is really important.
May rain be upon us again soon!

I have been known to run in the rain and have usually enjoyed it! That said, I wouldn't venture out in a downpour, so would probably skip a day. One of my longest and most enjoyable runs was in the rain and I got drenched, having to run through 6 inch deep puddles and a path submerged in water after the river burst it's banks. A bit of an adventure!
Love running in the rain especially in the summer months

In the summer, definitely would run in light rain. Once you're warmed up and wet it's no worse than being sweaty. I wouldn't run in a torrential downpour.
In winter, it depends on whether it's cold and windy too. Wet with a cold wind blowing at you chills quite quickly.
I always look at the weather radar map before going out. eg. netweather.tv/live-weather/...

Rainy days-carry on as usual. If it was torrential I would think again, although I have been out in heavy rain once!! I was very wet!!

I usually still run. I actually enjoy running in the rain, I find it quite refreshing. Wouldn't run in snow or ice, absolutely not, but rain, yes it doesn't usually stop me.
That said, I used to teach Zumba, so still have all my music and DVDs, plus I also taught Step, so I have a step and sometimes do a workout on that and sometimes I put on my favourite music (loud of course) and just dance!! Great for stress!!
🤣
