Hi, sorry I can’t be any help on the long term chances for obese runners but I am with you. I am just starting and still struggling to think that completing the 9wks is possible. I have struggled with wk 1 and learnt a lot already. But I have learnt to jog slow, try not to land on my heals, take extra days off in between runs if I need to and it’s ok to repeat runs. I was so surprised today when I was doing run 3 that I actually felt I might be able to do this. I’m sure you will too. Good luck

Fantastic , well done to you , sounds like your doing all the right things , so best wishes moving forward on your journey and enjoy the running
Great stuff, well done! We can do this 👍
I think slow and steady is the way. I read some advice somewhere to run as slow as your pride would let you. Helps remind me that it's OK to go slow - it's still going! Good luck!
