Yay! I did it! I completed the program and what's even better, is that I ENJOYED the program, the challenge, the success, the support. And I did it all without any injury! Needless to say, I am chuffed, a bit peacockish...
I had 10 days off before today's run...circumstances didn't make it possible to run during the last 10 days- so today I took it easier than ever. However....a few minutes into running and the podcast stopped and I couldn't get it going again. So I just noted the time and ran for another 30 minutes. I probably went over the 30 minutes total but I wanted to be sure that I wasn't doing less. It was actually nice not having headphones on. I felt a bit lighter even though my phone was still in my pocket. But I took in the birds and the water and the trees in bloom. I ran my regular route but finished with a bit of a hill that left me red for a long time afterwards!!
Anyhow, just want to say thank you to all for your support during these last couple of months. It's been crucial. And deeply appreciated.
When I started this program, it was for the challenge and I didn't really plan on continuing running. But surprise, I like running and so am planning to carry on with it....consolidation for a few weeks and then maybe the after program....I'll play around with it a bit.
That's it. Thanks again. I must get back to strutting.....

Thank you. Yes, I plan to check out the bridge once I've got a few weeks in of solid, consolidation runs. For me, the community support was crucial to me completing this program; I'm not sure I would have done without it and I think I will find the same support 'over on the bridge'.
You are right. We should never ignore our successes and we should always find time to celebrate them !! Thanks for the reminder to be kinder to myself and accept the credit for something well done.
😊 Thank you. It certainly feels different running without the headphones. As much as I've enjoyed and appreciated Laura, running without her feels freer...I like it ! Happy running to you !
