Decided to run as I was so unfit at 55 years old!!! My motivation was due to a friend who has cancer of which her life expectancy has been shorted. So I've decided to do a half marathon 😬I'm on week 9 run 2 of the C25K. Never ever did I think I would get this far. I feel I could run further, but I have stuck to the plan religiously, taking my time pacing myself. However, not sure how to go up from 5K to 10K next. Any ideas please?

Hi Bounce112 , well done on getting to C25K week 9.
It's advisable to consolidate, generally for a few weeks, after C25K. Then I'd recommend the Magic Plan over on the Bridge to 10K forum for getting to 10K: healthunlocked.com/bridgeto...
If you think you can run further, then that's half the battle in doing so!
Welcome to the forum And well done on your progress !
As already advised we would recommend a few weeks consolidation after completing the program then the magic plan as linked to by Cmoi is very popular for getting to 10k
This FAQ post may also be usefull as you complete the program .

Happy running!
Like everyone says, consolidating is a good idea. Just get used to running how you like to run.I find guided runs really helpful, Nike Running Club is a free app with lots of them. You don't necessarily have to buy anything from Nike to use it and you can listen to music at the same time.
They have a half marathon plan which I started, lots of different runs which build your strength and endurance. Don't be in too much of a rush to get to HM, enjoy the journey.
As the others already said: Do the consolidation runs and then you might consider Ju-Ju's Magic Plan. The plan really works and you can choose the variety where your progress is to run for 60 minuntes eventually or 10k.
Completed the plan myself on March 1. It works.
