Did my 1st park run, I incorporated it with week 6 run 3 so jogged 25 minutes then walked brisk pace for another 5 then slow walked the rest so took me 47 minutes, don't care I did it and was buzzing, I am loving the couch to 5 k and all the great advice on here

Congratulations to you Lynz51 on completing your first parkrun when running run 3 of week 6, you are now OFFICIALLY a RUNNER, glad you enjoyed the parkrun, next Saturday you can repeat that run at parkrun as the 3 runs of week 7 are also 25 minutes long.
Well done. Parkrun is fantastic. I don't think I'd've been brave enough to do it on week 6. I had no choice though as it only restarted last July. Have fun. Not long to graduation. Bonus is, you know what it takes to run a 5K now.

this is encouraging. im just starting week 4. im thinking of using park run for the infamous week 5, run 3 (20 minutes) and take it from there. i emailed a park run manager a while back who said a lot of people run/walk or just walk. it's very inclusive and welcoming
