Puddles

Just out of interest, do you run through puddles or around the muddy sides?

Part of me wants to say, just plough straight through the middle Jaxstr, but on a serious note..., Poleholes lurk in those waters becareful!

Oh, around. I don’t want a ‘Vicar of Dibley’ moment..! 😧😆

If I do hit a puddle my feet get a soaking. My Brooks are constructed of 50% air I think.

Besides, puddle hopping is proving to be a fun game 🐇💦

I know! Everytime I look at a puddle I think of the vicar of Dibley. One of these days in sure I'm going to disappear! Keeps me smiling though 😁

I try to avoid puddles, but occasionally when there are a lot of people I can not but step right into a puddle. Luckily this does not happen that often. But I do have a pair of Sealskinz socks which are waterproof. So if I am wearing these (normally I wear them only with bad weather), no soggy feet for me 😜

Ooh waterproof socks! I hadn't heard of those. Might have to look into it.

If you run in a puddle, you do still feel the cold of the water, but your feet do remain dry. You have to dry / wash the socks afterwards though and the shoes have to dry of course too. But you don't have that squishy feeling like when you run in a puddle with normal socks. Sealskinz is the name 😉
