Treadmill run due to Bella

Hiya,

Due to storm Bella there is a high risk of falling branches and flying debris and such. I love running in the rain, but I have a kind of phobia of wind. Some 14 years ago the roof of our weekend chalet was demolished in a storm (luckily we weren't there at that moment). And seeing the devastation after had such an effect on me that I am now scared of hard wind.

Anyhow, I decided not to risk anything and give my treadmill another try. I own a treadmill, but I seriously dislike running on it. It feels much much harder to me than running outdoors. But I wanted to get my run in today, so treadmill it was.

I walked (4,5 km/h) and ran (6 km/h) a bit slower than outdoors, though it felt faster (and harder). At first I had to get used to it (treadmill running), but I did succeed it doing the below. As I wing it (not following a plan), I do am proud of myself of the below. I did not overdo it, but neither went easy on myself.

5 min warm up - 7:11 min run - 1:33 min walk - 9:12 min run - 2 min walk - 10 min run - 5 min cool down

I do hope though that my next run will be outside again!
