I run 4 to 5K every other day since graduating in August and go walking on the rest days as I would worry about injuries running every day. The world is your oyster now, runner!
Well done!! I did 4k on my graduation run too. I have slowed down since to keep my heart rate lower so still take about 37 minutes to do 5k but I can run 7k without feeling like I will collapse. I am concentrating on building stamina, then I will think about speed
Same... I went with my fit 20 year old daughters who kindly slowed down for me but I wanted to vomit after 60 seconds π€’. I can't believe I can now run for 53 minutes!!!!
Congratulations Hammer17 great achievement and great photo, made me laugh, I bet Jay would say that too if asked about C25k π enjoy your well earned saveloy and chips π and no doubt a few celebratory tipples too π» well done ππ»ππ»π π₯³π₯³
Download the Nike Run Club app itβs great for consolidation runs π
Congratulations on your run and I think 4K is good in that time. Also well done on the weight loss. You must, and should be, super chuffed with your achievement.
Well done on completing C25K. Programmes great isn't it. When I finished back in July I too was able to do 4k. I really wanted to achieve the 5k in 30 mins. Since then I've built up the running and have reached 10k in 1 hr 7 mins and 12k in 1hr 20 mins which I'm so pleased with but still not able to do 5 k in sub 30mins!! Certainly getting there at 33 mins but going faster clearly is not my thing or perhaps one day it will. It just can take a long time. Good luck
