I’m on week seven, and got up to week six running on the spot at home.
After encouragement on here I went out to run in the real world and... it was great!
I went at night - I am a night bird who lives in a safe area, and night meant fewer people to dodge/feel self conscious in front of.
I’d partly convinced myself I couldn’t do it, as Mr Internet was pretty consistent that it would be harder/different. I think it did take a bit more out of me, but it was still very doable. And I was surprised by how effective a hoodie was in neutralising the effect of wind and rain.
I really never imagined I could do this. Happy days!
