Heel pain - much better!

Just wanted to say thanks for all the support and advice on this forum.

I did my first run for over 2 weeks yesterday using my new heel inserts in my trainers - and no pain but did notice that I am landing on my heels too much. Tried to correct it as I went round.

Gait analysis as soon as I can get to a running shop.

Doing the strength and flex exercises using the podcast every other day.

The thing that most helped with the pain (which had spread up my calves and past the knee) was these clever arch support cushions for plantar fasciitis. I wore them round the house for three or four days and they had immediate affect. Not needing them now as the heel inserts are preventing reoccurrence.

Great to hear of the improvement. Gait analysis sounds like a really good move as soon as you can - feet can be so problematic unless treated correctly. You don't want any more time on the IC if you can avoid it 🤞
