Thought I’d give a quick update just in case some are thinking I’d given up !
I decided that my joint issues were improving so I ventured out at 6.30 this morning. I couldn’t quite decide what/how much I should do but finally opted for W1 R1 only it was 60 seconds fast run and 90 seconds slow run ... of course fast/slow is all relative ... my version of fast and slow😉
Yay - I did it and then continued with a very gentle “tap tap” for 5 mins before walking and then stretching.
I changed coach for this too and it felt quite liberating defying MJ telling him that I wasn’t going to walk - I was just going to slow down - fortunately it didn’t seem to upset him - he was still talking to me at the end 😃
Not bothered about how far or how fast today - just so pleased to be out there again and then when OH said I always seem a bit more smiley and happy on my run days, I thought yes, it really does make a big difference to me in sooo many ways.
So now I’m back on board as it were - I’ve been watching and commenting on others progress and now I can contribute again in my own right. Roll on Friday when I’ll go again ... wonder if MJ will still be my coach 🤔
