Hi all. I’ve just finished R3 from W2 and I’m surprised to say I think I’m actually enjoying it! Unfortunately, this week I’ve been having some problems with my right knee. It was niggling for the walking segments of R1 this week but it became more irritating as the week went on. I wouldn’t say it’s been painful, more tender, or weak I guess. I started rubbing some ibuprofen gel on it yesterday but after today’s run I’m limping a bit on it. Does anyone have any advice? Should I rest it more before I start W3? Would a knee support help? Is this a common runner issue and should I just be working through it? As I said, I wouldn’t say it was painful, more irritated. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Standard in week 2 and 3. Take ibuprofen tablets and ice it. It should go in a week or so if it’s what most people get.
