After much apprehension I finally did it! Not as bad as I thought it would be, as I walk a lot.

Does anyone have any top tips about running with degenerative disc disease?

Well done 👍🏽

Slow down and slow down again as the intervals get longer 💪🏽

Thank you, took your advice today and will definitely bear that in mind moving forward too 🙂

Hey, well done on your second run! I'm only a week ahead of you and you do learn a lot as you go along.

Best of luck with it 😁🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

Hi there. I thought week 1 was tough but I’m enjoying week 2 much more. I just did the second run of the week yesterday. Last one tomorrow. As everyone here says, take it slow. I’ve found music definitely helps too. I ran this week with music and it meant the run passed without too much panic. This community is a great motivation too - I tried running before but it felt blah. The help and support here is brilliant.

Keep posting here and let us know how it’s going. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
