Completed my first week of couch to 5km! Slightly worried I'm enjoying it so much! I'm 51 years old and have not run since my teens!! Looking forward to seeing what next week brings. I know it will get harder but looking forward to the challenge

I hated my first week so that is brilliant! Sounds like you have just the right attitude and will meet every challenge. It is def within your reach. Good luck and I hope you continue to enjoy the journey

Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

Enjoy your journey.
