I see it’s getting hot again by the end of next week. Whilst I enjoyed the evening run at the weekend and it seemed to suit me, (tad easier and more relaxed) I thought I’d get back to morning runs as I don’t cope with the heat.
All I would say is still slow start, distance ok, just need to be a bit more organised in general...
The exercises before and after runs, this may give me a bit more confidence that all will be ok, as I can be a bit hit and miss and still nervous!
Great feeling though after running 28 mins, is this really me?
This really is the new you! The confidence will come, and pre and post run stretches should also make the run more enjoyable as your body will need less time to adapt when you start running. 28 minutes is awesome, so close to graduation now 💪👍🙂
A HUGE big thank you to you Linda 9389, I wonder sometimes why I am doing it? Think I may be going straight out as soon as I’m up originally to avoid folk! But I’m not bothered by that now. So, if I do some stretches and I hopefully will be a little more ready for the run that may work...it’s funny as the run last weekend was the only one in the evening and that was more enjoyable. I really do appreciate this as I felt I was losing the plot a bit and it all felt very routine...thank you, thank you, thank you so much 😊 🙏 😊
