The other day I asked for advice about being able to run further in roughly the same time and I was told to slow down. A bit counter productive I thought so I continued doing my thing.
Today I took a different approach in terms of running slower and not worrying about times (I still used the app to gauge where I was) and wondered how or if it would work. Anyways I can say it kind of did work and I ran 6.02km in just a tad over 34 minutes. Now it would have been less except for the brutal hill at the end which made me feel as though my lungs were going to burst from my chest and simultaneously from my mouth.
So the moral of the story is to slow down and not worry. Oh just to prove I wasn't lying about the hill.....

Excellent running and results... your vO2max should be rising nicely, which is the main input in estimating race pace... and as you’ve seen it comes quicker with slower running. It’s all a little counterintuitive, but it works!
