I’m very new in running...This is my first post and I actually found this forum because I’m trying to get some advice on the pain in my knees and if that will go away on its own if I push through it. I read the FAQ post that was pasted here and I realize it could be a) because of my shoes; b) because of the slopes I sometimes run on; c) my flat feet(no arch whatsoever) d) no strength training; or all of the above.
Can anyone give me tips on these issues if you’ve had them and if eliminating them proved helpful? Thanks!!

Read my post on my knee and orthotics, you definitely need them if your flat footed ,I mean good ones from a podiatrist ,not from boots etc. They will make a huge difference. Strength training more important with longer runs
