Second attempt

Morning everyone. So about 18 months ago, in my late fifties, I started C25k. I got to week 9 run 1 completed. With only 2 runs to go, some family issues arose so I had no time for gym . I’m 60 this month and yesterday I started again. Week 1 run 1 under the belt and I just want to post that I really enjoyed it and I will get to week9 run 3 this time, it’s my 60th year goal! I will post again when I’ve got there.

Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

Enjoy your journey.
